Contribute to the Pew Fund

Pews for the Sanctuary
 
The Leadership decided it was time to purchase pews.  You may contribute to the building fund by sending a check and money order to the Westside Church of Christ c/o Building Fund.  You may want to dedicate a pew in the name of a relative, loved one or yourself.  We will be happy to acknowledge your contribution or pledge in our annual bulletin and on our website.

Contribute to the Annual Homecoming Fellowship

Homecoming
This event takes place every year on the 4th Sunday in May and the Saturday preceding it.  On Saturday we prepare a light dinner at 3:00 pm and have a Songfest at 5:00 pm with guests from all around.  On Sunday we provide an old fashioned Southern Fellowship Luncheon for all who will attend. 
To contribute to our homecoming please mail in your contribution at the address below and make your check or money order payable to the Westside Church of Christ Homecoming Fund. 

Contribute to the Food Pantry

Food Pantry
You can support the Food Pantry by contributing canned foods, dry good such as toothpaste, diapers, paper products for school, laundry detergent, toothbrushes, paper towels, towels, boxed dinners, soups, canned meats, peanut butter,etc. etc.  Just call and we will schedule a pick up time.  The Food Pantry is open as needed and is Managed by Bro. Jimmy Smith.  Sister Alisha Howell, is the Coordinator and established the pantry under the current leaderships authorization.

Contribute to the Prison/Jail Ministry

Prison/Jail Ministry
Currently inmates are visited at two different facilities on the 3rd and 5th Saturday of the month.  Inmates in 17 different cities and 5 different states receive Bible correspondence courses and lessons.  
You can contribute by donating Bibles, Concordances, Bible dictionaries, and study materials to be used during the study sessions.   
You can also contribute a dollar amount in order to purchase any of these materials.  Material will be labeled and donated in your name to the deserving area and you will be updated on the progress of the program via website or email address. 
 
 
General Contribution/Offering:      This fund is used for furthering the gospel through ministering, preaching, teaching, and general spiritual growth of the congregation and edification of the Word. 
Building Fund:  This fund is used to make upgrades, to build, and to repair or upkeep of the kingdom/church. 
Bus & Transportation:    The vans are used to transport members to and from church affiliated activities in order to support the work and furthering of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is also used to support other congregations and functions at Westside.

Ministers Appreciation

Ministers Fund
Bro Willie Robinson organizes a committee to help plan and execute the Ministers' Appreciation.  If you would like to contribute to this fund send a check or money order to "Minister's Appreciation"  and mail to Westside Church of Christ - Attn:  Willie Robinson -  P.O. Internet Ministries

To contribute to the progress of the internet ministries make checks payable to Westside Church of Christ.  Place Internet Ministeries in the bottom left corner of the check.   

Ladies Day

Continuing the bi-annual program the first Saturday in November.

Bible Correspondence  

Continue to provide correspondence courses to inmates and ohters interested in furthering their knowledge of the Bible.
