WESTSIDE CHURCH OF CHRIST
QUESTION:
Are all Christians "Siners"?
Does the Bible teach that because we are in the flesh, and human, that Christians are all sinners?  And is it scriptural to refer to bretheren in the Lord as "sinners"?

ANSWER:
Define "sinner" - one who is in rebellion to God and His will.  A good definition of "sinner" is found in Proverbs 1:24 - 28, "Because  I have called, and ye have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man hath regarded; but ye have set at nought all my counsel, And would none of my reproof:  I also will laugh in the day of your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; when your fear cometh as a storm, And your calamity cometh on as a whirlwind; When distress and angish come upon you.  Then will they call upon me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they shall not find me."  Further, note that Go says that He will not hear the prayer of one who refuses to do his will.  Based on that premise, which is found in many other passages in the scriptures, the blind man stated in John 9:31, "Now we know that God heareth not sinners.Again, the apostle Peter delineates betwen the righteous and the sinner, "For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears unto their supplication:  but the face of the Lord is upon them that do evil" (1Peter 3:12).  Notice that the inspired apostle draws a line between the righteous (Christian) and the sinner (who does evil).  Therefore, your answer is, No.

QUESTION:
Sunday is not the Sabbath so why do we go to church on Sunday instead of Saturday?

ANSWER:
After Christ came He commanded us come together on the first day of the week to worship him.  "Ans on the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread" (Acts 20:7).  "On the first day of every week let each one of you put aside and save, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come" (1Corinthians 16:2).  There are 5 parts of worship which are; singing, preaching, praying, giving, and communion.   There are 5 parts of worship; Preaching,Singing, Communion,Praying, and Giving.  All of these acts mst take place before one can say they have worshipped God and it has to be on Sunday.  However, we serve Him every day we can only worship Him on Sunday.
